05About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Data Engineering Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on exposure to data integration, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and data platform engineering, working alongside experienced professionals on production-grade systems.
This internship is ideal for candidates who want practical experience in modern data architectures and scalable data processing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from multiple sources
Support data integration across internal systems, APIs, and external data providers
Develop and optimize data transformation workflows for structured and semi-structured data
Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
Collaborate with analytics and AI teams to provision clean, usable datasets
Contribute to data modeling, schema design, and storage optimization
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows
Document data flows, pipeline logic, and engineering processes
Follow best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization
Required Qualifications
Students graduating in May/June 2026 or recent graduates with a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
Fresher or up to 6 months of experience.
Strong understanding of Databases and SQL, Data structures and basic algorithms
Willingness to work night shift hours
Availability to work on-site twice per week
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with:
Python, SQL, or similar languages
Data pipelines and workflow tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, etc.)
Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, etc.)
Familiarity with:
Data warehousing concepts and architectures
APIs and data ingestion patterns
Basic understanding of distributed data processing concepts
