Location: Bloom Rich Township

Type: Temporary/Summer position

Salary: $16.80/hour

CEDA (Community and Economic Development Association) is a vibrant nonprofit on a mission to empower communities and fight poverty. We're excited to offer Summer Youth Intern positions through our FsACE department—an incredible opportunity for young people looking to gain real-world experience, professional development, and make a meaningful impact across Cook County!

What You'll Do:

  • Report to your assigned worksite on time and ready to contribute.

  • Complete job responsibilities assigned by your site supervisor.

  • Track your hours each week and ensure timesheets are submitted for approval.

  • Participate in job skills and financial literacy training provided by CEDA.

  • Communicate with the FsACE team to share experiences and ask for support.

  • Take part in surveys and evaluations before, during, and after your 9-week placement.

  • Learn, grow, and develop the skills that will help launch your future career!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.

  • Experience & Education: No prior experience or educational background is required—just a positive attitude and willingness to learn!

  • Skills That Help: Enthusiastic personality, good communication, professionalism, and a focus on showing up and doing your best.

  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from your worksite.

  • Availability: This is a part-time, temporary summer position. Schedule and work hours will depend on worksite assignment.
