Job Description

Validation Engineering Intern:

The successful candidate will work closely with internal engineering teams including firmware, architecture, design, power/thermal, and supplier teams to ensure validation coverage and world class quality and reliability for the company's Solid State Drives (SSDs).  Using gathered data, the candidate will execute a comprehensive qualification plan aimed at ensuring the reliability and quality of SSD products.

In addition to validation and reliability tasks, this internship presents a software development opportunity with exposure to C++/Python programming and Full Stack development (AngularJS, SQL, REST, etc.). The internship’s goal is to provide hands-on experience in engineering applications tailored specifically for validation, emphasizing the creation of software to stress-test and evaluate product reliability.

Qualifications

Education:

Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline for the entire duration of the internship. 

Internship start date: January 2026

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work onsite at our Zapopan location
  • Good English communication skills and a team player
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Good time management
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Experience with Windows Office suites and Windows/Linux environments
  • Self-motivator

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 Month Experience in the following areas:
  • Systems Engineering
  • Semiconductor devices/processes and circuit design/validation
  • Storage products
  • PCIe interface, NVMe protocol
  • SQL database
  • Scripting language such as Perl, Python
  • Statistical analysis 
  • Project Management
  • Machine Learning & AI
