About the Role

Mechanical Engineering Intern 

Location: Miami, FL (On-site)

Aeroservicios USA is a Miami-based provider of new and refurbished Ground Support Equipment (GSE), parts, maintenance, and technical solutions for the aviation ground support industry. We serve airlines, cargo and regional operators, ground handlers, and FBOs by supporting the equipment they rely on for daily ramp and airport operations.

As part of CSI Leasing, Aeroservicios combines technical expertise with the support of a global organization, while continuing to focus on practical GSE solutions, equipment support, and customer service.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to mechanical design, SolidWorks drawings, equipment measurements, and project support in a real operational environment. 

What to expect in this role on a given day:

The Mechanical Engineering Intern position is a full-time summer internship within the Project Management Department. This internship will provide the opportunity to apply mechanical engineering knowledge and technical skills in a hands-on operational environment.

Primary responsibilities will include supporting the Project Management team with equipment measurements, SolidWorks drawings, mechanical design support, and other project-related tasks, while gaining practical experience in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) industry. 

You will be a good fit for this position if you:

  • Are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Have an interest in mechanical design, equipment measurements, and project support
  • Have basic knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Think critically and have the ability to problem solve
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Are comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment
