About the Role

This internship provides a structured, mentor-guided educational experience in the field of computational chemistry and computer-aided drug discovery. The intern will be immersed in a research environment where they will observe, learn, and practice techniques central to modern drug discovery workflows.


The internship is designed to expose the intern to state-of-the-art software platforms, molecular modeling methodologies, and quantum chemical calculations used at the Institute. All activities will be supervised and instructional in nature, emphasizing the development of technical proficiency and scientific reasoning through hands-on learning under expert mentorship.


The intern will also develop professional competencies in scientific communication through participation in group meetings and the preparation of a final presentation and written report. The primary beneficiary of this experience is the intern, whose academic and professional development is the central objective of the program.
