Key Responsibilities

1. Governance Framework Leadership & Ownership

  • Own the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of a robust governance framework for senior leadership.
  • Establish and maintain clear processes for decision‑making, risk management, issue escalation, and standardized performance and governance reporting.
  • Ensure governance mechanisms drive accountability, transparency, and alignment with organizational strategy and control objectives.
  • Periodically review governance effectiveness and refine practices in response to business complexity, scale, and regulatory expectations.

2. Business Change & Operations Coordination

  • Act as the primary coordination point between the Business Change team and Operations, enabling smooth execution of cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Drive alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring disciplined delivery of complex programs and operational change.
  • Facilitate governance forums, track key actions, and ensure follow‑through and closure.

3. Regulatory, Market & Industry Intelligence (IFSCA / SEBI / AIF Focus)

  • Monitor and interpret market and regulatory developments impacting Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Transfer Agency, and fund services, with specific focus on IFSCA (GIFT City) and SEBI regulations.
  • Track regulatory circulars, consultation papers, guidelines, and enforcement trends relevant to fund administration and investor servicing.
  • Maintain an internal repository of regulatory updates, impact assessments, and action implications for the business.
  • Lead preparation and release of periodic regulatory and industry update newsletters for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct competitor and peer analysis, tracking governance models, operating practices, regulatory positioning, and market developments to support strategic decision‑making.
