Key Responsibilities
1. Governance Framework Leadership & Ownership
- Own the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of a robust governance framework for senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain clear processes for decision‑making, risk management, issue escalation, and standardized performance and governance reporting.
- Ensure governance mechanisms drive accountability, transparency, and alignment with organizational strategy and control objectives.
- Periodically review governance effectiveness and refine practices in response to business complexity, scale, and regulatory expectations.
2. Business Change & Operations Coordination
- Act as the primary coordination point between the Business Change team and Operations, enabling smooth execution of cross‑functional initiatives.
- Drive alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring disciplined delivery of complex programs and operational change.
- Facilitate governance forums, track key actions, and ensure follow‑through and closure.
3. Regulatory, Market & Industry Intelligence (IFSCA / SEBI / AIF Focus)
- Monitor and interpret market and regulatory developments impacting Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Transfer Agency, and fund services, with specific focus on IFSCA (GIFT City) and SEBI regulations.
- Track regulatory circulars, consultation papers, guidelines, and enforcement trends relevant to fund administration and investor servicing.
- Maintain an internal repository of regulatory updates, impact assessments, and action implications for the business.
- Lead preparation and release of periodic regulatory and industry update newsletters for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct competitor and peer analysis, tracking governance models, operating practices, regulatory positioning, and market developments to support strategic decision‑making.
