YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:

 

Within AXA Group Legal’s department, you will join a team of 19 experienced lawyers, several legal officers, and 3 assistants from 5 different nationalities.  

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Corporate Law:
    • Assisting in the preparation of AXA’s General Meeting
    • Supporting employee shareholding operations initiated by the Group
    • Drafting regulatory disclosures (annual reports)
    • Preparing reports required under Solvency II regulations
    • Conducting research on corporate and securities law
    • Handling corporate secretarial tasks
  • Financial Transactions:
    • Drafting loan agreements
    • Assisting with internal and external financing operations (market or bank financing)
    • Conducting legal research in financial law (securities law, banking law, etc.)
  • Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Partnerships:
    • Conducting legal research and drafting memos
    • Supporting due diligence processes
    • Assisting with signings/closings and post-closing follow-up (warranties, indemnities

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  •          Education: Final year of a Master’s degree in Law (Business or Banking Law)
  • Experience: Prior internship in corporate law (preferably in corporate governance, banking or M&A).
  • Skills: Strong legal drafting, analytical abilities, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Languages: Fluent in French and English (written & spoken).
  • Mindset: Proactive, rigorous, business-oriented, and able to work in an international environment.
