About the Role

As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to help the team achieve our business development goals. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for executing, recording, and managing payments within the accounts payable function of the department for multiple entertainment entities within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will harbor an innate interest in helping to further the success of the accounting team. 

This position is fully in-person at our Addison, TX office, working part-time hours, approximately 24 hours per week. The pay range for this role is between $22 - $28/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the accounts payable process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconciles AP payment transactions and resolves any discrepancies or variances with vendors or internal stakeholders.
  • Monitors and maintains accurate records of accounts payable transactions, including maintaining payment history and supporting documentation for tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborates with the accounting team to ensure cash reconciliations are accurate and all payments are recorded as expected. 
  • Collaborates cross-functionally and executes special ad-hoc projects as needed. 

Experience & Skills

  • Actively enrolled in a four-year university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with an estimated graduation date of December 2026 – May 2028.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups, and other key analytical techniques) required.

Qualities & Preferences

  • Working knowledge of NetSuite is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Prioritizes tasks and works well under pressure to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, highly adaptable, self-starter and collaborative team player.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and execute processes in accordance with standard operating procedures.

The pay range for this role is between $22 - $28/hr.
