Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and critical thinking Human Factors Intern to join our innovative team in Chicago, IL. As a Human Factors Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies to real-world projects, while learning tangible skills from the experienced Human Factors professionals on the team.

  • Assist in planning and conducting usability studies
  • Analyze and interpret data collected from usability studies
  • Support the creation of research reports and presentations
  • Contribute to the development of user interface designs and prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate human factors principles into product development processes

Some domestic travel (approximately 20%) will be required for supporting usability study activities.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
    • Currently a Junior or Senior (graduating 2027 or 2028)
  • Strong knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies
  • Familiarity with user-centered design processes and basic understanding of ergonomics
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Interest in human factors and product design for drug delivery/combination products
  • Relevant coursework or project experience is preferred

POSITION RANGE: $20.00 - $24.00 USD hourly (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)
