Trust Design Documentation & Media Associate

(Podcast + Storytelling + Archival Support)

 

Time Period

September 1-October 24, 2026

~8 hrs/wk

Potential opportunities for continued related work post residency if mutually agreed upon.

 

This Service Leadership Work-Study (SLWS) position offers students the opportunity to serve and learn alongside the 2026 Social Innovator in Residence, Antionette Priscilla Carroll. This position is not designed to replace or replicate the responsibilities of trained personnel. Instead, it emphasizes learning through civic engagement, inquiry, reflection, and systemic analysis. Student will be supervised by Vicki Nolton in the CLS and will be mentored by Antionette Priscilla Carroll. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recording and editing podcast/audio conversations
  • Support documentation of Walking Through Mistrust / Walking Towards Trust
  • Capture photography/video/documentation of residency activities
  • Help organize transcripts, reflections, and thematic observations
  • Assist with micro-podcast interviews during Liberation Pauses
  • Support social storytelling and digital archiving
  • Help maintain residency documentation systems

 

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications

  • Interest in storytelling, media, podcasting, journalism, archival work, or documentary practices
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Comfort with audio/video editing tools preferred
  • Interest in community narratives and ethical storytelling
  • Ability to work relationally and respectfully across differences
