Co-op/Intern

POSITION TITLE: Pricing and Finance Co-op

SHIFT HOURS: 8:00am to 5:00pm (days)

LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY 

PAY: $35.00/hour - $40.00/hour 

JOB SUMMARY: The Co-op (short for "cooperative education") position at LSI is a short-term assignment (typically 3-12 months) designed to provide an educational experience for the student, while at the same time providing tangible benefit to LSI. The Co-op positions may extend or reoccur in line with the academic semesters. The Intern position is also a short-term assignment (typically 1-3 months). The Intern position occurs as a single experience designed to provide work experience for the student. Typically, both Co-op and Intern positions are coordinated through a University or College Co-op office and provide college credit for the student. 

REPORTS TO: Manager, Supervisor, or other LSI employee based on the nature of the work assignment. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• All duties as assigned conducted under the direction of LSI staff of the relevant functional area.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Enrolled in an accredited degree program in a relevant discipline.
• Completion of sophomore year in a relevant discipline preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Solid work ethic and desire to contribute.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter; ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Experience with MS Office or similar software.
• Must be able to work in a dynamic environment.
