About the Role
Overview

The Experience Covenant Intern demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that their attitude and actions are all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation. The Experience Covenant Intern will learn new skills and gain experience while working under the direct supervision of an assigned preceptor/mentor from the assigned department. This position is designed to provide college students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills for their future roles in healthcare.


Responsibilities

Demonstrates excellent customer service.
Maintains confidentiality.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively under pressure, and ability to work accurately.
Explores and participates in assigned skills related to field.
Gains knowledge, skills, and experience through rotations in a variety of Covenant departments.
Learn about the industry standards and regulations.
Assists staff with duties as needed.
Adheres to professional standards of organization.
Attends scheduled shifts and meetings.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma.
Minimum of 24 college credits completed before the start of the program

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive issues and material.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
