POSITION SUMMARY
The Intern position is designed to provide students or recent graduates with practical, hands-on experience across various departments within the organization. The role supports day-to-day operations, project-based work, and administrative tasks while offering exposure to business processes, professional development opportunities, and cross-functional collaboration.
ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks across assigned department(s).
- Support team members with data entry, documentation, reporting, and file management.
- Participate in ongoing projects and provide support in research, analysis, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and organizational activities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of information.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding assignments and progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.
- Currently enrolled in a High School, Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree program; or recent graduate.
- Fields of study may include (but are not limited to): Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or related areas.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
- Not required.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Previous internship, volunteer work, or academic project experience preferred but not required.
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of office procedures and business operations.
- Familiarity with general technology and digital tools.
Skills:
- Strong communication (verbal and written).
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Abilities:
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
