This position supports the accounting department and will include responsibilities associated with the financial close process and review of financial controls.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial month-end close process.
- Assist with reviewing lease database and preparing data for system migrations
- Test invoices for proper revenue recognition timing and documentation
- Prepare journal entries associated with the closing process.
- Review financial controls associated with Revenue Recognition testing.
- Prepare reconciliations during month end.
- Implement audit findings into actions of improvement.
- Other projects and analytics as requested by Management.
Required Education and Experience
- Working towards a business bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting/data analytics.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to gather, manipulate and analyze large sets of data.
- Ability to prioritize variety of projects and adapt quickly to evolving business needs.
- Intermediate-advanced Excel skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
