From your PASSION to ours

 

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring an Intern, Import Sales based in New York City, NY.


As an Intern, Import Sales, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to advancing the sales and distribution of Lactalis Import Cheeses in the NYC retail market. The Import Sales Associate will collaborate with Asst. Director, US Imports, and Director, US Imports to align duties with the company's goals and values.


 From your EXPERTISE to ours


Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Present Lactalis import cheeses and butter to New York City retailers.
  • Conduct demos with local retailers to promote the sales of Lactalis Import cheeses and butter.
  • Gather information on imported cheeses & butter markets in NYC including distribution, pricing, and promotion.
  • Analyze the gathered data and arrange it in the table format.
  • Identify opportunities of marketing new import cheeses.
  • Maintain regular contact with importers’ salespeople in the market to ensure placement of Lactalis cheeses and butter with the retailers.
  • Supporting Import sales and marketing teams on various specific projects including participation in food shows and customer events when needed.

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication are preferred.

Experience

  • No prior experience is required but a strong drive to learn and succeed must be demonstrated
