About the Role

Position Overview 


The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Team with a variety of day-to-day marketing, event, and administrative responsibilities. This role is ideal for a motivated, organized, and creative student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.

Responsibilities may include assisting with event preparation and logistics, organizing marketing materials and shipments, supporting content creation and social media initiatives, tracking basic marketing metrics, and helping the team stay organized across ongoing projects and campaigns. The intern will also have opportunities to contribute creative ideas, support visual content development, and gain exposure to multiple areas of marketing and brand strategy.




Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with the creation of social media content including captions, graphics, and short-form videos for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube
  • Support the Marketing Team with content planning and scheduling across social media channels
  • Help create visual assets using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Assist with capturing and editing basic video content for marketing and event-related initiatives
  • Track and report on social media and marketing campaign metrics, including engagement, impressions, and audience growth
  • Conduct light research on marketing trends, competitor activity, and emerging social media best practices
  • Bring fresh ideas and creative perspectives to brainstorms, campaigns, and content development
  • Support marketing events, conferences, and team projects as needed
  • Maintain marketing asset libraries and help organize internal materials
  • Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to broader marketing strategy and operations

 

Qualifications

  • Working towards bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations 
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing (mandatory)
  • Proficient in writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Past work experience or internship would be valuable
  • Entry level, looking for those seeking marketing Internships, co-op marketing opportunities, real-life experience to supplement their marketing education and learning.
