We're looking for an Operations & Finance Intern to support our Logistics, Operations, and Finance teams during a 6–8 week summer engagement. This is a project-driven role focused on using AI to build new tools and processes that support our back-office functions to work smarter and faster. You'll work alongside the people who keep our supply chain moving and our books clean, and leave behind real improvements they'll use long after you're gone. You'll get hands-on exposure to how a growing consumer products company moves inventory, manages vendors, and keeps the books clean — working alongside the people who make it all happen.

This role is based in our San Francisco, CA office and requires regular in-office presence in accordance with company policy.

Who You Are

  • A current undergraduate or recent graduate pursuing studies in business, finance, supply chain, operations, economics, or a related field
  • Genuinely excited about AI and how it can transform the way teams work — you've experimented with tools like Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini and you're eager to push further
  • A builder at heart — you see a broken process and want to fix it
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, but bias toward action
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to scope your own work when given a goal
  • A clear communicator who can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You'll Do

  • Work on high-impact special projects across logistics, operations, and finance — scoping the problem, designing the solution, building it, and handing it off
  • Use AI to build new tools and processes that transform how our back-office teams work: automating repetitive workflows, building internal copilots, streamlining reporting, and prototyping smarter ways to handle invoices, POs, inventory data, and more
  • Support logistics operations, including tracking inbound shipments, monitoring inventory levels, and helping resolve fulfillment issues
  • Leave a lasting footprint by documenting your work so the tools and processes you build are easy to adopt and maintain after your internship ends
  • Provide light support on day-to-day tasks as needed to stay close to the work and surface new project opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with team members across the company

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate program
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to commit 25–40 hours per week for 6–8 weeks
  • Able to work in our San Francisco office on Monday - Friday

Why You'll Love This Role

  • A creative, fast-moving environment where ideas turn into action.
  • Generous discount on Fellow products
