What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, start-up, testing, and troubleshooting of building automation and electronic security systems on new construction and existing customer sites.
- Support electrical installation work related to BAS and security systems, including device mounting, cable routing, basic terminations, panel work, and field verification under supervision.
- Learn to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation documentation to help complete assigned project tasks accurately and safely.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of BAS components such as HVAC controls, energy management devices, and related field equipment.
- Assist with the installation and testing of security system devices such as access control hardware, intrusion components, and related low-voltage equipment.
- Help with job site checkouts, basic programming updates, system verification, and customer site documentation while following clear direction from experienced team members.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, site requirements, and provincial and local regulations while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Seek guidance when needed, build technical knowledge through hands-on field experience, and contribute to team success by completing assigned tasks reliably.
- Assist with other related duties as required, including warehouse, administrative, and project support activities.
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada (for example, by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or work permit).
- Valid driver’s license (G2 or higher) is preferred.
