About the Role

The HR Summer Intern provides administrative and project support to the Human Resources team while gaining hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance. This internship is designed to provide exposure to core HR functions in a professional and fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Support special HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Help maintain employee records and HR documentation with confidentiality and accuracy
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and HR tracking spreadsheets
  • Support employee engagement activities, events, and recognition initiatives
  • Assist with organizing training materials and orientation sessions
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct questions appropriately
  • Support onboarding and new hire paperwork processes
  • Assist with recruitment activities including scheduling interviews, reviewing applications, and candidate communication

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or healthcare administration
