Engineering Intern

Purpose

An intern is required to support three critical engineering initiatives over the coming months

Maintenance Maturity Assessment (scheduled for October) – ensuring proper documentation tracking and organization.

Maintenance Efficiency project – optimizing spare parts management through data collection and analysis.

BI tool development – enabling granular, real-time tracking of maintenance costs.

Core Responsibilities

• Tracking documentation for the Maintenance Maturity Assessment – This assessment is scheduled for October this year, and we need dedicated support to ensure all documents are properly tracked and organized.
• Optimizing spare parts management under the Maintenance Efficiency project – The intern will assist in data collection and analysis to improve spare parts inventory and processes.
• Developing a BI tool for maintenance cost tracking – To enable more granular and real-time cost monitoring, we would like to create a simple BI dashboard for maintenance expenses..

Academic Background

University majors in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or related fields

Professional Experience

• Assisted in tracking, organizing, and maintaining documentation for a Maintenance Maturity Assessment.
• Supported a Maintenance Efficiency project by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing spare parts inventory data, and providing recommendations to optimize stock levels and reorder processes.
• Developed a simple BI dashboard for maintenance cost tracking, enabling real-time visibility into expenses and supporting more granular cost monitoring for engineering management.
