About the Role

Job Purpose

JOB PURPOSE:

 To manage the ADNOC Aviation operations i.e. Depot, Hydrant & Into-plane operations at ADIA ensuring receipt, storage and supply (refuelling) in a safe and efficient way, and in compliance with Industry and company standards.

 

Job Specific Accountabilities

•   Liaises with Aviation Maintenance Team regarding preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and serviceability of all equipment.

• Ensures efficient work force planning and prepares Duty Rosters and annual leave program to ensure uninterrupted fuelling operations with special attention to the peak hours and to periodical exercises programmes.

• Keeps the team motivated and pro-actively addresses any issues related to staff morale, training, etc. HSE & Risk Management

• Ensures that HSE Regulations and procedures are strictly always adhered to. All incidents and accidents are timely reported and investigated. Takes necessary corrective actions to prevent any future incidents/accidents.

 • Maintains the site risk register and carries out Task Risk assessments for all site tasks and implements the actions.

• Ensures compliance with all Airport Regulations, Company Policies/Procedures and Aviation Industry Standards.

• Carries out task assessments and quarterly inspections to ensure smooth & safe operations and takes proper corrective actions, where required.

• Ensure all recommendations from site inspections, audits, customers, etc are closed within the target dates.

• Regularly conducts monthly safety meetings and toolbox talks with staff. Quality & Compliance Control

• Ensures that all static & mobile equipment are regularly checked for Quality Control and for day-to-day serviceability in accordance with ADNOC Distribution and Aviation Operations Standards.

• Ensure batch control and product traceability for all receipts and deliveries.

• All QC incidents are immediately reported, investigated in detail and corrective actions taken. Customer Relationship Management

• Maintains close relationship with customers, airport authorities and other airport stakeholders.

• Seek regular feedback and takes appropriate action.

• Takes action to resolve all reported incidents, complains, etc. from airport stakeholders including airport authorities, customers, ground handling agencies, etc.

• Coordinates with airport security to seek support in arranging airport security passes for ADNOC staff, visitors and contractors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operations Management Fuelling and Depot Operations 

• Ensures that all product movements including receipt, storage and release are carried out in strict compliance with ADNOC Distribution Aviation Operations Standards. 

• Ensures that adequate stock of Aviation fuels (Jet A-1) are maintained as per requirement. Regularly updates the daily and weekly fuel requirements to operations department manager.

 • Updates the stock accounting on daily basis. Investigates product gains/losses and initiates action to prevent abnormal discrepancies.

• Oversee and ensure that all fuelling operations i.e. fuelling/defueling of aircrafts are carried out in safe and efficient manner and in line with ADNOC Distribution P&P and Aviation Operations Standards.

 • Prepares and update Procedures & Work Instructions as per Aviation Operations Standards and ADNOC Distribution requirements and ensure these are followed on site.

 • Ensures all sales data is timely captured in system without any errors. Resource Management & Planning

• Ensure sufficient resources are available to meet the day-to-day requirements. 

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

 QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

: Minimum Qualification

• Diploma in Marketing, Engineering. Business Management or equivalent. • Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 6 years of similar experience, including at least 4 years in position of increasing managerial responsibility
