About the Role

The internship Program brings together experiences that will help our co-ops and interns develop both personally and professionally, Students pursuing their undergraduate and post-graduate degree programs wherein internship is a mandatory requirement of the curriculum or those who have completed their studies and are looking for a short work experience.

What You Will Do

  • Kernel Development: Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of Linux kernel drivers for embedded platforms.

  • Device Drivers: Assist in the creation and enhancement of device drivers, ensuring seamless integration and functionality with various hardware peripherals.

  • System Debugging: Work on debugging and troubleshooting issues related to kernel-level software, identifying, and implementing effective solutions.

  • Performance Optimization: Collaborate on performance tuning and optimization efforts to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency.

  • Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional collaboration with software engineers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure a holistic approach to embedded system development.

  • Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation for developed code, ensuring knowledge transfer and seamless integration into the project.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Pursuing/Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.

  • Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages.

  • Understanding of Linux kernel architecture and development.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded systems architecture.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Understanding with embedded systems and real-time operating systems is a plus.
