Job Purpose
We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an intern to support the General Sales Team to support in delivering sales result. The intern will be working closely with Haleon Key Account Manager, External Distributor Team (Sales Manager and Sales Rep) to drive sales objectives.
Position of Hiring Manager: Key Account Manager
Number of internship positions: 1
Preferred Period of Internship Required: June/July to December 2026
Preferred School/Course of Intern: Business Students
Key Responsibilities:
You will be required to Collaborate with the Key Account Manager on projects and activities that contribute to the 2026 Sales Growth Plan.
Administrative & Distributor Support
Coordinate requests from external distributor teams (Managers and Sales Representatives), including regular visits to distributor offices in the West area.
Assist the Distributor Sales Manager with sales projects and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Work closely with trade marketing functions to manage POSM material requirements and ensure timely delivery to distributor teams.
Sales Review & Analysis
Conduct sales data analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and areas for improvement.
Prepare insights and reports to support decision-making and performance tracking.
New Business Development
Perform strategic market landscape reviews to identify potential growth opportunities.
Gain exposure to the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, crafting proposals, conducting meetings, supporting deal closure, monitoring performance, and assisting with post-sales follow-up.
Contribute to white space development initiatives by exploring untapped customer segments.
Data Analytics
- Competitive pricing monthly data capture and insights sharing to channels
- Promotion analysis for key channels to provide insights on selected channel promotion effectiveness (Descriptive analysis)
- Channels scan update to provide sensing of long-term trending
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the internship, you will
Gain industry exposure by working within the General Trade sector, engaging directly with distributor sales teams and collaborating with internal cross-functional partners (Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing).
Develop commercial exposure through hands-on experience in sales data analysis, reporting, and translating insights into actionable business strategies.
Build business development capabilities by participating in sales growth initiatives, exploring new market opportunities, and supporting end-to-end account development processes.
Enhance professional competencies such as stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving in a dynamic, fast-paced commercial environment.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Management or equivalent.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
Positive can-do attitude, with a keen interest to learn.
Excellent professional communication skills – both verbal and written
Able to work both individually and as a team-player.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, problem-solve, work in teams, and focus on delivering assigned work.
Ethically grounded due to the nature of information that you will be in contact with.
Good time management skills; deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong work ethics
Chinese Speaking Preferred (Main language that the customers are conversing in)
