About the program

CNL’s internship program reflects Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). It gives Nigerian undergraduate students the opportunity to gain practical experience, strengthen technical knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute in a professional work environment.

Interns will work on assignments related to their discipline and report to a supervisor who will provide day-to-day guidance, assign tasks, and support their development throughout the program.

The program offers valuable industry and functional exposure through hands-on experience, mentorship, learning from Chevron professionals, and other structured development opportunities.

Eligibility

  • The program is open only to Nigerian students studying in-country or abroad who are available to begin their internship between July and August 2026.
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a program leading to a Bachelor’s degree, National Diploma, or Higher National Diploma.
  • Industrial experience must be a compulsory requirement for completing the academic program.

Requirements

  • Applicants must submit a SIWES recommendation letter from their institution as part of the application.
  • The internship duration is a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve months, as applicable.
  • Applications must be submitted online through the application portal.
  • All applicants will go through a selection process which will include shortlisting and aptitude tests. Final selection will be based strictly on candidate performance and space availability.
