HP Factory Data Automation Intern

Description -

We are world-wide team with presence in Mexico, USA, Taiwan, China, and the Czech Republic.

Our role in HP is to support HP labs developing new products, as well as HP factories and manufacturing partners worldwide. 

Currently, we are opening an internship position where successful candidate will work on  meaningful improvement project where they can get hands-on experience in factory operations, data analytics and automation while developing end-to-end project execution, alert management, cross-functional collaboration skills in a global manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the business: learn and understand the process flow

• Assess the capabilities: get familiar with tools and their limits

• Gap analysis with stakeholders: Align and review deliverables with stakeholders (Factory Services Project Manager, Operation teams and IT/data stakeholders)

• Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable improvements and implement agreed-upon solutions and follow up/fine tune with feedbacks

Education & Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in: Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field

• Available for a long-term internship / apprenticeship (12–24 months)

Skills & Competencies:

Technical:

• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), knowledge of programming languages such as C#, C or Java would be a strong advantage

• Knowledge of basic SQL and non SQL data base tools

• Interest in AI technologies, automation, and digital tools

• Understanding of data structures and reporting concepts

• Basic understanding of network

Analytical & Problem-Solving:

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with complex datasets

• Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to work in a cross-functional, international environment

• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
