Advanced Atomization Technologies (AA TECH) is a joint venture between Parker Aerospace and GE Aviation, created to produce and support advanced fuel nozzles and related products for current and future GE Aviation commercial engine platforms, including aerospace and aero-derivative engines. AA TECH designs and produces advanced fuel atomization nozzles for some of the most powerful and efficient gas turbine engines in the world, produced by GE Aviation. AA TECH is headquartered and performs all manufacturing in Clyde, New York. Our fuel nozzles are installed on almost every commercial aviation and industrial engine manufactured by GE Aviation. About Advanced Atomization Technologies
 Advanced Atomization Technologies (AA TECH) is a joint venture between Parker Aerospace and GE Aerospace, created to produce and support advanced fuel nozzles and related products for current and future commercial engine platforms, including aerospace and aero-derivative engines. The highly skilled and experienced team of AA TECH employees is expert in design, assembly, testing, and aftermarket support, providing our customers with a world-class product and support experience. 

 

Position Summary:

The employee is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in the following areas: Carpentry, plumbing, grounds care, cleaning and production support, PM equipment under supervision with another member of the maintenance team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Minor plumbing maintenance to PVC, copper and steel pipe installations. Repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains. 
  • Installation, positioning and reconfiguration of modular office furniture. Moving furniture, file cabinets and assorted office equipment to accommodate user needs and maximize office space. 
  • Grounds care including mowing, weed whacking, trimming, edging and spraying/spreading weed killer. Snow and ice removal, plowing and salt spreading. 
  • Assist maintenance team members with multiple projects from moving equipment, cleaning lights, cleaning the facility, pulling wire and any other area they will need assistance on.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Setup, operation and safe use of hand and power tools common to the manufacturing industry
  • Valid NYS driver’s license


Key Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general facility maintenance. 
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Observe all company safety rules, policies, procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
  • Willingness to learn.

Typical Mental and Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk, stand, stoop, bend, crawl, climb and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to operate machinery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected of the team member is regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.


In addition to the key responsibilities listed above, this position requires successful completion of all other duties assigned by management.
