About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our R&D Graphics Solutions team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment, applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges in one or more of the following areas: polymer chemistry, process optimization, material characterization. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and learning valuable skills. This internship is scheduled to start on 01.10.2026 for a duration of 6-9 months. The role requires a commitment of 5 days per week. This is a fully on-site role based primarily at our Alphen office (70%), with the remaining 30% of your time spent at our European HQ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the planning, execution, and monitoring of various technical projects.
  • Conducting research and data analysis to support project objectives.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and progress.
  • Contributing to the development and optimization of current and future product development. (e.g., polymer formulations, chemical processes, etc.).
  • Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to problem-solving discussions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Ability to organize tasks, manage timelines, and contribute to project deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to challenges.
