About the role

Are you seeking an opportunity to put your financial and accounting skills into practice? Would you like to get exposure to the job of Financial Controlling working in a global manufacturing company? This internship will offer you the unique opportunity to support the divisional European SOX coordinator in the execution of the 2026 SOX process, CAPEX project's financial tracking process and Quality/Aging provision. This is a great way to learn how various key business and financial processes are organized and controlled from a financial perspective. On top, this assignment will also provide the opportunity to learn about SOX requirements for a US-listed company. This internship is scheduled to start on 15th of July 2026 for a duration of 7 months. The role requires a minimum commitment of 4-5 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the SOX coordinator via working closely with the process owners on ensuring the SOX deliverables are achieved in time.
  • Work with different business process owners and controllers across Europe to ensure that the key controls are assessed, documented and tested properly.
  • Perform walkthrough procedures and key controls testing.
  • Perform quality control on the SOX tests.
  • Lead the divisional CAPEX projects (IT and R&D) financial tracking process and support the CAPEX case preparation.
  • Ad hoc financial controlling assignments

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance & Control, Auditing, Economics, or any related studies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
