The opportunity
We’re looking for a New Business intern who is excited to collaborate and help the new business team land new clients. This internship offers opportunities to collaborate with a diverse set of voices from various backgrounds and professional capacities—including Strategists, Copywriters, Account Leaders, Design Directors, Art Director/Designers, Developers, and other brand experts—to provide innovative marketing solutions for clients large and small.

Summary of the Role:

  • Partner with New Business team to research new business opportunities to aid in determining how we approach engaging with and pitching prospective clients. 
  • Share research findings with key members of the agency to build successful presentations to prospects. 
  • Learn KNOCK’s tools to organize information and ensure the team has everything they need. 
  • Help to manage research timelines, using them to drive work forward and to set and manage expectations with the internal team and prospective clients.
  • Support teams to ensure meetings are organized and efficient, creating detailed meeting agendas and action-oriented recap notes. 
  • Support in facilitating proofreading and internal reviews of work prior to presentations.


Your skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university (marketing, communications, media, design, or related field)
  • A passion for the marketing/advertising world 
  • A get-it-done attitude 
  • A strong attention to detail, with the ability to organize and keep track of project details  
  • The ability to connect and collaborate with a multitude of outstanding humans 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • A penchant for timelines and the ability to foresee the most efficient way to organize workflows 
  • A consummate problem solver who is flexible and comfortable when things are not black and white 
  • A critical thinker who contributes to the conversation
