Job Details
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build their career in Human Resources and Recruiting. You’ll gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition processes, candidate engagement, and operational coordination, while contributing to the growth and success of Attalon. This role will be based in Traverse City, MI, however you will interface with leaders and candidates at all locations within Attalon.
Responsibilities
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment process and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Manage calendars and ensure seamless communication across stakeholder, including; Recruiters, HRBP’s, Hiring Managers and Candidates.
- Send interview confirmations and reminders to candidates.
- Candidate Experience:
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, answering questions and ensuring they have all necessary information for interviews.
- Support candidates with a warm, professional, and welcoming experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Assist with job postings on internal and external platforms.
- Collaborate with recruiters and HRBP’s on various administrative tasks and documentation.
- Collaboration and Projects:
- Partner with the Talent team on recruiting initiatives, including employer branding, and recruitment event planning.
- Support campus or early career recruiting programs, including coordination of career fairs and student outreach.
- Contribute ideas to streamline or improve recruitment workflows.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Assist in tracking recruitment metrics and preparing reports on hiring activities.
- Ensure all hiring data is accurate and organized for future reference.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience or coursework related to recruiting, HR, or project management is a plus but not required.
- A passion for people, teamwork, and building relationships.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfort with handling sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
- Interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Employee Experience.
- Previous experience (internship, part-time, or extracurricular involvement) in coordination roles or customer service is a plus.
