Position Title: F&B Intern
Location: Chateau Marmont
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Hotel Intern to support daily operations at our boutique hotel. This internship offers hands-on experience in hospitality, guest services, hotel operations, and customer experience management. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the hospitality industry in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries
- Support front desk operations, reservations, and phone communications
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with concierge-style services, including local recommendations and transportation arrangements
- Help maintain organized guest records and reservation systems
- Support hotel events, promotions, and special guest experiences
- Monitor lobby and common areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by hotel management
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Prior customer service experience preferred but not required
