About the Role

At Aurora Organic Dairy, we believe it is our obligation to care for our animals, respect our people, and improve the health of the planet for the future. This summer internship offers hands-on experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, and compensation support, with meaningful exposure to talent analytics, process improvement, documentation, and systems optimization. The intern will partner with the HR team to support recruiting coordination, reporting, workflow improvement, and HR tools while building practical skills in operational excellence within a values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruiting operations through interview coordination, candidate communications, and administrative workflow support.
  • Maintain accurate data in recruiting and HR systems to support reporting, documentation, and operational consistency.
  • Assist with talent analytics by compiling hiring activity, tracking key metrics, and organizing data for team review.
  • Support operational excellence through data validation, audit support, and process tracking across talent acquisition and compensation activities.
  • Provide project support for compensation programs, job description management, and related HR operations initiatives.
  • Compile reports, summaries, and spreadsheets to support recruiting, compensation, and broader HR team priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in a professional, service-oriented manner while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Handle sensitive candidate, employee, and business information with confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Document end-to-end recruiting workflows and SOPs
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or manual workarounds
  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Create standardized templates and naming conventions
  • Develop recruiting and compensation process maps
  • Audit HR data integrity across ADP and SharePoint


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Finance, Communications, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition, HR operations, compensation, analytics, or HR systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, data organization, reporting, and process documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Interest in process improvement, systems optimization, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Physical Requirements:

Walking, standing, stooping, stretching and lifting up to 25lb regularly.
