- Understand the fundamentals of electro‑mechanical manufacturing equipment used in semiconductor fabrication
- Learn structured electrical and mechanical solving approaches
- Develop an understanding of preventive maintenance strategies and equipment reliability concepts
- Translate technical observations into documented engineering insights and improvement recommendations
Project Scope:
- Study the architecture and operating principles of selected electro‑mechanical manufacturing equipment
- Review historical equipment fault data and maintenance records (with supervision) to identify recurring failure patterns
- Learn the use of test and diagnostic equipment for equipment verification and checkout in a controlled learning environment
- Observe equipment teardown, rebuild, or modification activities to understand component functions and failure mechanisms
- Develop documented troubleshooting workflows and reliability improvement proposals based on findings
