About The Company
Ferrari's story officially began in 1947 when its first road car, the 125 S, emerged from the gate of no. 4 Via Abetone Inferiore in Maranello. The iconic two-seater went on to win the Rome Grand Prix later that year and shortly thereafter was developed into a refined GT roadster. The company has travelled a long way since then, but its mission has remained unaltered: to make unique sports cars that represent the finest in Italian design and craftsmanship, both on the track and on the road. The very definition of excellence and sportiness, Ferrari needs no introduction. Its principal calling card is the numerous Formula One titles it has won: a total of 16 constructors’ championships and 15 drivers’ championships. And of course, there is the impressive lineup of legendary GT models. Cars that are unique for their design, technology and luxurious styling and that represent the best in Italian the world over.
About the Role

Ferrari has a most desirable track record, in F1 and Endurance Racing, for built-to-order Sports cars with Desing R&D, Production and commercial activities, as well as in LifeStyle and Fashion activities. And delivers record business results and confirmed one of the “World’s most powerful brands”.

Above all Ferrari is an international team (with 60+ nationalities) working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.

We are looking for a dedicated intern in our Industrial Logistics Area, with specific activities in managing a supplier portfolio, ensuring the procurement of required components within the contractual lead times and in compliance with the requests and requirements generated by the MRP. You may manage different categories of components, each with distinct procurement logics, such as project-based management, generic, and consumption-based items.
Also, you are responsible for maintaining the logistics parameters set for various suppliers, to ensure proper planning of procurement schedules and to maintain appropriate stock levels in the warehouse.

You will cooperate in different activities, including:
•    Management of a supplier portfolio using MRP and SIC order systems;
•    Analysis of monthly cycle counts for both accounting and subcontracting warehouses;
•    Management of transportation in cases where dedicated pickups need to be organized, either from suppliers to Ferrari or, if necessary, between Ferrari’s tier suppliers;
•    Identification and monitoring of supply issues that could impact the vehicle production plan, interfacing with relevant departments to resolve problems;
•    Verification that supplier production capacity is consistent with the planned production ramp-up and the expected daily peak for the vehicle model, with particular attention to OPT components, for which they communicate production constraints to production planning;
•    Sets logistics parameters and delivery schedules for the suppliers under their management.

Required profile

For this fundamental role, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Management or Mechanical Engineering or similar

You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects (in automotive or luxury sectors) that allow you to understand business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to the detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus.
