About the Role

Ondaro is seeking an Accounting & Payroll Intern in our Accounting and Finance Department. This role is responsible for Accounting tasks related to payments, reconciliations, accounting process documentation, and Payroll tasks related to timesheets, job code access, and travel reporting. This role will ensure quality internal and external customer service, while demonstrating competencies in all the areas of responsibility and the ability to grow with the organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reconcile, and verify accounting information to contribute to accuracy and timeliness of the Company's financials.
  • Provide high quality, timely support and problem resolution for the organization’s goals and financial results.
  • Perform various aspects of payroll, including timesheet tracking and resolving timesheet errors.
  • Provide support for the annual audit.
  • Assist in the auditing of Travel and Expense reports, working with traveler and or admin to ensure compliance with the Travel and Expense policy.
  • Use Analytical skills to assist in reviewing weekly labor reporting.
  • Review spy reports to identify and resolve data errors.
  • Gain exposure to various tools, including Jamis Prime and Concur software.
  • Assist in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve non-routine problems 
  • Ability to interface with middle and senior-level management and articulate financial information in a clear and concise manner 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • History of working in customer service. 
  • Fluent Spanish (preferred, not required)
  • Microsoft 365 experience
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Strong independent judgment and leadership skills

Note: Base salary range is $25.00 per our. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
