Accounting & Finance Intern – Wildpack Beverage

Location: Vancouver, BC (Remote)
Duration: 8–16 weeks months (with potential for extension or full-time conversion)

About Wildpack

Wildpack is a rapidly growing co-packaging and co-manufacturing company specializing in ready-to-drink beverages. We partner with emerging and established brands to bring products to life—handling sourcing, production, packaging, and logistics across multiple facilities.

We operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where finance plays a critical role in driving smart, operationally grounded decisions.

About the Role

As an Accounting & Finance Intern at Wildpack, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the financial operations of a multi-site manufacturing business.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond textbook accounting and understand how finance actually operates inside a business—working closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership to support real-time decision making.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
  • Assist with tracking and analyzing production costs, inventory, and COGS across multiple facilities
  • Help prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Partner with operations teams to understand cost drivers and identify areas for efficiency
  • Support AP/AR processes, including invoice tracking, payment reconciliation, and vendor coordination
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting exercises
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects

What You’ll Learn

  • How accounting and finance operate in a manufacturing environment (not just corporate theory)
  • Real-world exposure to cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis
  • Cross-functional collaboration between Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain
  • How financial data informs strategic decisions in a high-growth business

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
  • Comfortable working with data and numbers (Excel proficiency required)
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator who can work across teams

Bonus Points

  • Exposure to accounting or ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
  • Interest in manufacturing, CPG, or supply chain environments
  • Experience with financial modeling or data visualization tools

Why Wildpack

  • Real ownership and meaningful work from day one
  • Exposure to the inner workings of a scaling manufacturing business
  • Opportunity to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Fast-paced environment where your ideas and contributions matter
  • Potential pathway to a full-time role
