Job Description Summary
The Actuarial Department of TLB consists of various functions. As an actuarial intern, you will have a unique 6-months / 12-months experience to expose into different functions/sections during the internship period. After the completion of the internship, we expect candidates can equip with the basic actuarial knowledge, understanding on insurance industry and the related standard of practice.Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of various reporting and valuation tasks;
- Assist in User Acceptance Test (UAT);
- Assist in product development and pricing process;
- Assist in actuarial system development;
- Support ad-hoc analysis and projects assigned by managers.
Requirements
- Undergraduates in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or other computer programming language is an advantage
- Good problem solving & analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command spoken and written English and Chinese.
