About the Role

Description

 JF Petroleum Group is seeking a dynamic college student looking to join the Finance/Accounting team. Success in this role will require partnership with the Finance/Accounting teams in North Carolina. We are seeking someone who can communicate effectively and professionally, and who possesses the ability to prioritize, work efficiently, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency. We are a growing company with a goal-oriented, supportive, and collaborative team that is motivated to be an internal and external ambassador for JF Petroleum Group.


Responsibilities:

  • Many job responsibilities will be project based over the internship period and may include:
  • Assist with various projects in Accounts Payable
  • Payment Requests, invoice/statement processing
  • Filing, reporting, auditing
  • Software utilization in BC27, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)


Requirements

  • High School graduate with plans to attend a college or university and work towards pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ year of prior work experience
  • Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required
  • Confidentiality of private company information
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company 
  • Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
