About the Role

Position Overview

This internship provides a hands-on learning experience across engineering support, production operations, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role is designed to give interns exposure to both the operational and technical aspects of a manufacturing environment while collaborating with experienced production and engineering professionals.

Intern will support day-to-day production activities while also assisting with engineering-related projects and system builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production and assembly operations
  • DOE Optimization on grinding and polishing microhardness samples
  • Assist with inventory organization and material handling
  • Help rebuild a DualVee RTU demo system, including wiring and assembly
  • Assist with construction of a wheel testing system
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Interest in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial operations
  • Strong willingness to learn and contribute in a hands-on environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a production/shop environment
