About the Role

Braun Intertec is seeking students pursuing degrees in environmental engineering/studies, geology, or related field and any other interested candidates for a 3-month internship. Participants will have the chance to get hands-on experience in the environmental Investigation and Remediation and Permitting and Compliance field and may include research into emerging contaminants, assisting with preparation of technical documents, and other related tasks.

 

 

Responsibilities

· Interact with field and office geologists, engineers, and scientists

· Complete office-based research, data compilation, and writing

· Conduct various field activities to include site reconnaissance, sample collection for air, soil, and water, and environmental site assessments along with other outdoor tasks

· Work with other key consultants on environmental projects

· Assist with other department needs, as requested

Required Skills

· Able to develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams

· Good business acumen

· Proficient in MS Office Suite

· Strong communication skills

· Highly organized

· Able to work independently 

Minimum Experience and Education

·Significant progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related

Please note that the compensation range shared is based on an annual salary. Our co-op opportunities are approximately six months in duration at an hourly rate of $20 - $23.

Compensation Range:

$37,000.00 - $56,000.00
