Paid Intern, Blumhouse – Film
Overview: Blumhouse is seeking interns to support our Film department for Fall 2026 from August 31 – December 18. As a Blumhouse intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on a multitude of projects and task, script coverage, learning about production aspects of Blumhouse, assist in miscellaneous administrative tasks, and attend weekly meetings with our TV and Film executives. This is an in-person internship; virtual options are not available.
Compensation: $18.50/hour (part time) and school credit available
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or no longer than 1 year post undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
- Work 20 hours/week
- Must be seeking to strengthen their knowledge and gain expertise in the film industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Be able to handle fast-paced environments and various personalities.
- Organized, technology savvy, and willing to take initiative
- Must be good with time management and able to multitask
- Script coverage skills and/or administrative experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Write coverage on scripts and completed film submissions
- Assist with entertainment data research, and development of upcoming internal projects
- Perform basic administrative duties and day-to-day tasks
- Opportunities to attend creative company events, gatherings, and screenings in LA, however not mandatory
- Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
- Attend company meetings, Speaker Series, and intern-specific meetings with executives, directors, and talent
