About the Role

Paid Intern, Blumhouse – TV

Overview: Blumhouse is seeking interns to support our TV department for Fall 2026 from August 31 – December 18. As a Blumhouse intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on a multitude of projects, provide script coverage, learn about production aspects of Blumhouse, assist in miscellaneous administrative tasks, and attend weekly meetings with our TV executives.

Compensation: $18/hour (part time) and school credit available 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or no longer than 1 year post undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program 
  • Work 20 hours/week in person 
  • Must be seeking to strengthen their knowledge and gain expertise in the film and TV industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to handle fast-paced environments and various personalities.
  • Organized, technology savvy, and willing to take initiative
  • Must be good with time management and able to multitask
  • Script coverage skills and/or administrative experience is a plus

Responsibilities: 

  • Write coverage on scripts and completed scripted/unscripted TV submissions
  • Assist with entertainment data research, and development of upcoming internal projects
  • Perform basic administrative duties and day-to-day tasks
  • Opportunities to attend creative company events, gatherings, and screenings in LA (per COVID guidelines, if permitted), however not mandatory
  • Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
  • Attend company meetings, Speaker Series, and intern-specific meetings with executives, directors, and talent
