About the Role
Paid Intern, Blumhouse – Production 


Overview: Blumhouse is seeking interns to support our Production department for Fall 2026 from August 31 – December 18, 2026. You will have the exciting opportunity to learn about our Production process for Blumhouse TV and Film. We work hard to make our internship program as relevant, timely, and hands on. This is an in-person internship; virtual options are not available. 

Compensation: $18.50/hour (part time) and school credit available 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or no longer than 1 year post undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program 
  • Work 20 hours/week 
  • Strong interest or prior experience in Production for TV and Films 
  • Preferred understanding of Google and Microsoft Suites 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to handle fast-paced environments and various personalities.
  • Organized, technology savvy, and willing to take initiative
  • Must be good with time management, thrive under a tight deadlines and able to multitask
  • Possess a valid California (Class C) driver’s license 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform location research, organize, and manage crew availability, research and update our database; generate and update a list of available stages, warehouses, and production offices in major production hubs e.g., Atlanta, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, etc. 
  • Perform basic administrative duties and day-to-day tasks
  • Assist on set operations on films shoots when needed 
  • Undertake errands as assigned 
  • Watch Blumhouse movies and TV shows
  • Opportunities to attend creative company events, gatherings, and screenings in, however not mandatory
  • Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
  • Attend company meetings, Speaker Series, and intern-specific meetings with executives, directors, and talent
