 About the Role  

The Acounts Payable Intern will act as a Junior Analyst within the Accounts Payable team, and will be responsible for:

  • Supporting account reconciliations and preparing basic AP Finance reports
  • Contributing to process documentation and maintaining supporting files
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives and task automation projects
  • Provide administrative support to the AP Finance team in daily operations
  • Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments in accordance with established service agreements
  • Maintain assertive communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding payments
  • Manage credit notes related to supplier ordersAssist the resolution of payment issues
  • The position requires participation in improvement projects, delivering training on Accounts Payable processes to peers and other departments when necessary, managing team metrics, and generating requested reports, all with the overarching goal of strengthening operational efficiency and ensuring high-quality financial management.

Qualities

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Intermediate to advanced level of English (written and verbal)
