Intern, SAP BTP Application Development

Location: San Jose, CA - Hybrid 4/days, Friday remote

Job Summary:   

Semtech is looking for a motivated intern to support our IT team in the development and deployment of applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in enterprise application development within a global semiconductor company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and testing of applications on SAP BTP
• Support configuration and integration tasks within the SAP BTP environment
• Document technical processes and development activities
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic understanding of programming concepts (JavaScript, Java, or Python a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP BTP or other SAP products
• Experience with cloud platforms or web application development
• Knowledge of REST APIs or integration concepts
• Prior internship or project experience in an enterprise IT environment

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $23/hr - $31/hr.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
