We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.
We’re hiring an Intern: Legal/Real Estate (Contract Lifecycle Management) at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
EquipmentShare is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Intern to support the Legal and Real Estate teams in a high-impact enterprise project. This role will focus on organizing, standardizing, and digitizing real estate contract data within our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, LawVu. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with legal operations, contract management systems, and enterprise data governance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Upload and organize real estate contracts and related documents into the CLM system to ensure accurate, accessible records.
- Review contracts and extract key metadata (e.g., lease terms, critical dates, obligations) to support effective tracking and reporting.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of contract data across systems to enable reliable business decisions.
- Support data cleanup and standardization initiatives across legacy files by implementing consistent naming conventions and organizing scalable folder and file structures.
- Execute compliance-related tasks to align documents and records with EquipmentShare (EQS) standards.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide digital transformation efforts by supporting legal and real estate initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity, accessibility, and overall usability.
