About the Role

Are you a college student or recent high school grad looking for a summer that’s fun, hands-on, and a lot more meaningful than your typical job? If so, this might be for you.


We’re hiring a Intern – Home Modifications, and this isn’t your average summer gig. You’ll be out in the field doing real work that helps people live safer, more independent lives in their homes.


It’s a learn-as-you-go role where you’ll pick up real skills, work with a solid team, and see the impact of what you’re doing day to day.


No sitting behind a desk. No repetitive retail work. Just active days, new experiences, and work that feels like it matters.



What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing and supporting home modification equipment 
  • Working with ramps, lifts, and mobility equipment 
  • Helping with deliveries and setting up medical equipment as needed 
  • Supporting warehouse operations and handling equipment 
  • Learning how field work and installations come together

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • Valid driver’s license required 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (college students encouraged) 
  • Experience in warehouse, construction, delivery, or customer service is a plus, not required 
  • Clean driving record required 
  • Must pass background check 


Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs when needed 
  • Active role involving standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout the day 
  • May drive or ride in company vehicles 
  • Hands-on work with equipment and installations 

Compensation

  • $18/hour 

 

Shift

  • Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
