About the Role

Undead Labs Seattle is ready for the next Engineer to join our amazing team during our Fall 2026 internship program! Here at the Lab, our interns work on projects that matter – and your team will rely on your skills and insights to help deliver our next title.

This is your chance to bring your ideas to life while working on cutting-edge technology.  The internship is designed not only for you to do great work with the opportunity to learn and grow, but to experience our culture across multiple studios and memorable events.  All interns will be matched with a “buddy” who will be there to support you while still giving you independence to bring your unique self and vision, because that’s why you are here. 

This internship will be located in Seattle, with a minimum required presence of 3-days per week in our office in Pioneer Square.

All internships have the potential to become full-time positions. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Comfortable working in multiple development areas: UI, gameplay, tools, telemetry, bug fixing, performance, etc.
  • Write and maintain production-quality C++ code.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to prototype, iterate on, and deliver feature updates.
  • Iterate on features until they meet our high quality bar.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and work with the team to create solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of both high and low level programming techniques.
  • Functional experience working in Unreal Engine.
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university degree program.
  • Available to work full-time hours (40hrs per week) in a hybrid work environment.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Show us your work! This can be a portfolio, website, demo reel, or student project.  Format isn’t important, we’d just like to see what you’ve done. 
  • Excited to create amazing AAA game experiences.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $30-40 an hour.

Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
