We are seeking a Data Science Intern to support finance and data integration efforts following the Intelerad acquisition. This role focuses on cleaning, standardizing, and harmonizing datasets across SEI and Intelerad to enable accurate, scalable Power BI reporting and analytics. This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for candidates interested in data analytics, finance, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities 

• Clean, standardize, and validate raw datasets from Intelerad and SEI
• Build and maintain mapping and reference tables across integrated datasets
• Identify and resolve data quality issues including duplicates, missing values, and inconsistent definitions
• Support development and refresh of Power BI datasets, queries, and semantic models
• Document data definitions, business rules, and transformation logic
• Perform basic reconciliations and reasonableness checks between source data and reporting outputs
• Partner with Finance Integration and IT/Data team members to support integration milestones

• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field  
• Strong Excel skills including pivots, filters, and lookups
• Basic understanding of data cleaning and preparation principles
• Interest in Power BI, data models, and business reporting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with imperfect source data

Preferred Qualifications & Special Requirements

• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar data tools  
• Prior coursework or internship involving data analysis or reporting

Learning & Development Opportunities 

• Hands-on experience supporting a live acquisition integration
• Exposure to enterprise finance and operational data
• Collaboration with Finance Integration, FP&A, and IT/Data teams
• Practical experience preparing data for executive dashboards.

The pay for this position ranges from $18.00 USD - $24.00 USD within any geographic market in the US. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
