Intern - IT Junior Programmer

Job Purpose

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to ERP systems and assisting our software development team in all aspects of the development, testing and implementation of software solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities and accountabilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

•Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.

•Adapt, modify, and develop new functionality on our ERP System.

•Write and maintain documentation for software projects.

•Provide training for developed software and/or implemented modules.

•Troubleshooting software issues

•Working closely with developers to improve product functionality.

•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Competencies

•Education:

oAssociate degree or certificate in a computer science field.

•Years of Experience:

oRecent graduate with BS Computer Science or Information Systems.

•Job Knowledge:

oProven experience with Microsoft SQL Server or any other RDBMS.

oProven experience with Programming languages and object-oriented design

oWeb development tools such as HTML, CSS, Python, and/or JavaScript experience is preferred.

oExperience using Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and PowerBI.

oProficient in C#

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

•Working conditions are split between a professional office environment and a normal

manufacturing environment.

•Work involves delegating and operation detail.

• Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.

• Ability to see 20-20 when corrected.

•Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative

nature.

•Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.

•Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

The ability to work in loud, hot environments while wearing required PPE.

Direct Reports / Authorities

•Reports to the IT and Lean Innovation Manager
